Columbus, Ohio, 5/27/2006 - SCA is serving as the Architect-of-Record for the first and largest LEED certified, urban renovation project in the State of Ohio, the redevelopment of the one million sq. ft. Lazarus building in downtown Columbus. When completed in 2006, the former retail building will serve as office and mixed-use space.
SCA has been at the forefront of energy conservation practices and “green” building technologies for many years and were the first major architectural/engineering firm in Ohio to dedicate itself to the principles of sustainable, high-performance design and construction. SCA has architects, engineers and landscape architects who are LEED Accredited Professionals and the firm is a member of the United States Green Building Council and an Energy Star Partner.

Schooley Caldwell Associates is a direct descendent of Sims, Cornelius & Schooley, a partnership founded in February of 1944. In January of 1980, the firm was organized as a professional corporation under the laws of the State of Ohio and in November of 1995, moved to its present location at 300 Marconi Boulevard, Columbus, Ohio 43215.
