Columbus, Ohio, 10/10/2006 - Jeffrey Leemhuis, AIA, CSI, CCS, of Schooley Caldwell Associates, received two awards from the Columbus Chapter of the Construction Specifications Institute at its September meeting.
The first award was the Columbus Chapter President’s Certificate for having served three years as the Scholarship Committee Chair. Leemhuis has contributed his expertise in building specifications by assisting in writing and organizing a test for The George A. Van Niel Scholarship competition. The competition is sponsored by the Columbus Chapter of the Construction Specifications Institute each year and awards scholarships to students of The Ohio State University School of Architecture.
The second award Leemhuis received was the Twenty–year Service Award for continuous service to the Columbus Chapter of the Construction Specifications Institute.
